SEA VIEW

From Milo, you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the sea. As Mount Etna is the highest active volcano in Europe, located on the eastern coast of Sicily, it offers a privileged vantage point to admire the Ionian Sea. From the lookout point in Piazza Giovanni d’Aragona, you can see the sea stretching toward the horizon, creating a breathtaking contrast between the deep blue waters and the majestic volcanic formations. On clear days, you can catch a glimpse of the surrounding islands, such as the Aeolian Islands (like Stromboli and Vulcano), and the coast of Calabria on the mainland.
The best times to enjoy this panoramic view are early in the morning or at sunset, when the sunlight creates suggestive atmospheres and intense colors across the surrounding nature.
